A toaster oven is a versatile kitchen appliance. The unit looks like a miniature oven, with temperature controls and baking racks. The Black & Decker toaster oven can heat to temperatures of 450 degrees Fahrenheit, letting you not only heat and toast food, but also bake and broil foods like cookies and chicken.
Place the Black & Decker toaster oven on a flat, even surface with enough space between cabinets and walls to prevent damage while heat flows from the unit. Plug the toaster oven into an electrical outlet.

Slide the clean crumb tray into the unit, directly below the lower heating elements.
Turn the temperature knob to the desired temperature level.
Cooking versatility at the touch of a button! The one-touch functions like Bagel, Pizza, Frozen Snacks, Potatoes and Cookies make cooking precise and convenient while convection baking circulates hot air around your food for faster and even results.
Turn the function knob to the desired function. These are the options:
- Keep Warm
- Bagel
- Broil
- Bake
Preheat the toaster oven for 10 minutes.
Open the toaster oven door. Place the food directly on the toaster oven racks or in a baking pan, which goes on the racks. Shut the door.
Turn the timer/toast knob to 10, then backward or forward to set the timer.
The timer goes up to 30 minutes. If you need to bake something in the toaster oven for longer, Black & Decker suggests using the 'Stay On' feature. Follow the instructions in the manual for cooking procedures and times.
